About Little Logan’s Farm

Biocyclic Farming, Soil Health, and Regenerative Practices

Founded by Frances Gonzalez and Eric Linn, Little Logan’s Farm proudly holds the distinction of being the first Biocyclic Veganic certified farm in the United States. Tucked away in the scenic Hudson Valley, we farm with intention — free from animal inputs, synthetic chemicals, and unnecessary shortcuts.

Every seed we plant carries our commitment to sustainability, community, and compassionate agriculture. Through our CSA shares, farm events, and educational workshops, we’re cultivating more than food — we’re nurturing a movement.

What is Biocyclic Veganic?

Biocyclic veganic agriculture is a farming approach that avoids all animal-based inputs and focuses on building healthy soil through plant-based cycles. Instead of relying on manure or livestock byproducts, it uses composted plant materials, green manures, mulching, and biodiversity to maintain fertility. The goal is to create closed nutrient cycles, promote long-term soil health, and grow food with minimal environmental impact. Biocyclic veganic farms emphasize ecological sustainability, plant-based soil enrichment, and farming systems that work in harmony with natural processes.

Where Is Little Logan’s Farm?

Little Logan’s Farm is located at 608 Sand Hill Rd., Gardiner, NY, in the central Hudson Valley. The property sits directly on the Wallkill River, with wooded hills rising to the east and open valley landscapes to the west.

Gardiner is a small town at the base of the Shawangunk Mountains, known for its hiking, climbing, and protected natural areas. The farm is close to New Paltz, and within an easy drive of Beacon across the river. It’s roughly two hours from both New York City and Albany, making it accessible for weekend visits and retreats.

Logan

Little Logan’s Farm is named in honor of Frances’s son, Logan. His life was tragically cut short, and the farm carries his name as a way to remember him with love and presence rather than absence.
