Most wine is not vegan. Most people have no idea.

Animal products don't just enter wine at the fining stage. Bone meal. Blood meal. Fish emulsion. These are common soil amendments in vineyards that would never describe themselves as animal-dependent.

I've spent 30+ years as a vegan and nearly a decade studying wine. I founded Vegan Wines because conscious consumers deserve a trusted source — not just a label that says "vegan" with no story behind it.

Every wine in our collection is verified from the soil up. That's what soil-to-sip means.
