Farming
Differently.
Living soil. Closed-loop systems.
Biocyclic Veganic?
Biocyclic Veganic Agriculture is a globally recognized certification standard that builds upon and extends beyond traditional organic farming.
While organic certification eliminates synthetic chemicals, biocyclic veganic goes further — removing all animal-derived inputs, including manure and livestock byproducts, and requiring measurable biodiversity and soil regeneration practices.
Instead of importing animal waste, fertility is generated through plant-based cycles: composted plant materials, green manure cover crops, mulching, and intentional biodiversity systems.
More than farming
without animals.
Biocyclic Veganic agriculture is a structured framework that brings together soil regeneration, biodiversity, closed nutrient cycles, and ecological balance.
We don't simply focus on what we leave out. We focus on what we can build: healthier soil, greater biodiversity, and a more resilient farm.
Closed Nutrient Cycles
We work toward keeping nutrients and organic materials cycling within the farm rather than continually depending on outside inputs.
Biodiversity
A diverse farm is a resilient farm. We encourage interconnected ecosystems throughout the land.
Living Soil
Healthy soil is at the foundation of everything we grow. We work to support organic matter, biological activity, and long-term soil health.
Plant-Based Fertility
We build fertility through plant-based materials, composting, cover crops, mulching, and natural nutrient cycles.
Certified
Biocyclic Veganic.
Little Logan's Farm is America's first certified Biocyclic Veganic farm, certified under the Biocyclic Veganic Agriculture standard.
The certification provides a structured framework for agricultural practices centered on plant-based fertility, biodiversity, closed nutrient cycles, and long-term soil regeneration.
For us, certification is more than a label. It reflects the farming system we have chosen to build.
Rooted in the
Hudson Valley.
Little Logan's Farm is located in Gardiner, New York, in the heart of the Hudson Valley.
Surrounded by fields, forests, mountains, and the Wallkill River, the landscape is an essential part of our farm story.
We believe that farming means being responsible not only for what we harvest, but also for the health of the land that makes those harvests possible.
Come see how
we grow.
Little Logan's Farm is more than a place where food is grown. Come connect with the land and experience our approach to farming firsthand—or bring the harvest home through our 2027 CSA.

Little Logan’s Farm is named in honor of Frances’s son, Logan. His life was tragically cut short, and the farm carries his name as a way to remember him with love and presence rather than absence.
